For the last couple of decades Einar Falur Ingólfsson has been in the forefront of Icelandic artists using the photographic medium. He is also a writer, teacher and the culture editor of one of Iceland’s newspapers. Einar Falur usually works on long term projects where he often combines his photographs, work by other artists and writing. His work has been exhibited in museums in his home country and on both sides of the Atlantic, and has been published in acclaimed books as well.
"Strange times, strange times. It is hard to escape clichés looking for words to describe the times we are living – that’s one reason I am looking for how artists deal with the unique experience, now and in the future. I let my work talk for me."
